Light doesn't arrive all at once. It lands in pieces. A shimmer here, a glint there, until the whole surface is alive with it.

Dotted Sun is a series built on that idea. Thousands of individual dots in warm yellow fall across a field of deep cobalt blue, like sunlight touching the surface of the sea. Up close, each dot is its own small moment. Step back, and something larger emerges; a sun dissolving into water, or water reaching up toward the sun.

It is a new take on pointillism. Where the 19th century masters used smaller dots to build color through the eye, Dotted Sun uses them in bigger steps to build feeling. The warmth of yellow against the depth of blue, two forces meeting at the surface. Almost blending.

The series plays with density and scatter. In some works the yellow clusters and concentrates, blazing like midday. In others it drifts and disperses, trailing off like late afternoon light. Same sea. Different hour.
